What it costs to publish, by category
Most listings on Jinu are free to publish. Five things are not: a job, a service, a property listing, a stay, and a vehicle listed by a dealer or business.
The price depends on where you post. On the website the fee is charged through our payment processor. In the iPhone and Android apps it is an in-app purchase, and those prices are slightly higher because the app store's commission comes out of what you pay. The two apps charge the same.
The fee is charged once, at the moment you publish, and the listing then runs for 30 days like any other. There is no subscription and no monthly charge.

"Every other category" means all of the general goods categories: Clothing & Accessories, Electronics, Furniture, Entertainment, Family, Free Stuff, Garden & Outdoors, Hobbies, Home Goods, Home Improvement, Musical Instruments, Office Supplies, Pet Supplies, Sporting Goods, and Toys & Games. Those are free for everyone, private seller and dealer alike.
You see the price before you commit to anything
Start a listing at /post and look at the cost line on the details step. It reads either "Free to post · Live for 30 days" or "Listing cost · Live for 30 days" with the real figure, and it updates the moment you change the category. If it says free, no payment step appears at all and the listing goes live as soon as you publish.
The price is set by the top-level category
Subcategories do not have their own prices. A dealer listing under Vehicles pays $3 whether the subcategory is Cars & Trucks, Auto Parts & Accessories or Wheels & Tires. A private owner pays nothing for any of them.
What the fee is not
It is not a commission. Jinu takes 0% of what you actually sell, in every category, paid and free alike. It is not placement either: a paid listing appears in the feed exactly where a free one would. Paying to be seen first is Boost, which is a separate product with its own price.
Receipts and refunds
Every payment produces an invoice and a receipt in Billing at /account/billing. Under the Terms of Service, publishing fees are final and non-refundable, including when a listing is later removed, held for review or does not sell. If you think you were charged in error, write to legal@jinu.app with the listing title and the date.
