Helper wanted for a small furniture refinishing shop
About the role
I run a small furniture refinishing shop in West End, just two of us. We take in dressers, tables and chairs from around town, strip and sand them, and send them home looking right. I need a reliable helper about 20 hours a week, Tuesday through Friday, 9 to 2.
The work is physical: loading and unloading the van, carrying pieces up porch steps, sanding, hand stripping, sweeping and keeping the shop organized. You should be comfortable lifting 50 pounds with a partner and working in a warehouse that gets warm in summer (we run big fans). No experience needed, I will teach you. A driver's license is a plus.
Pay is $17 to $19 an hour depending on experience. If this sounds like a fit, send me a message here with a little about yourself and your availability.
