Line cook for our breakfast and lunch counter

My family and I run Sweetgum Biscuit Counter, a small breakfast and lunch spot in Kirkwood, and we need a line cook. Mornings are biscuits, eggs and grits, then a short lunch menu of sandwiches and plates.

The shift is 6:30 am to 2:30 pm, Wednesday through Sunday, closed Monday and Tuesday. You would run the flat top and fryer during the rush, help with morning prep and break down your station at close. Pay is $17 to $20 an hour depending on experience, plus a share of the tip jar and a meal every shift.

I am looking for someone reliable who stays calm when the ticket rail fills up on a Saturday. A year on a line is ideal, but I will train the right person. Send me a message here about your kitchen experience.
