Invite friends terms

Invite friends lets a Jinu member share a personal link (jinu.app/invite/ followed by their username). When somebody new joins Jinu through it and does the thing the program exists for, both of them get a free boost. These terms apply on top of the Terms of Service.

Nobody earns anything for signing up or for inviting. A reward is earned only when the new member's listing has stayed live as set out in section 03.

• You must be a Jinu member in good standing in the United States. The program is offered in the United States only.
• A new member can be connected to one inviting member, once. The first connection made for an account is the one that counts, and it cannot be changed later.
• A new member is connected when they create their account from an invite link opened in the last 30 days, when they open an invite link in the app, or when they enter the inviting member's username within 7 days of joining.
• The new member must be genuinely new to Jinu. An account that shares an email address (including the same Gmail address written with dots or a +tag), a phone number or a device with the inviting member, or with any other account, does not qualify.
• You cannot invite yourself, and you cannot create or use more than one account to earn rewards.
• Store review, test and demonstration accounts never earn rewards.
• If either member has blocked the other, the members are not connected and no reward is earned.

Both members earn one free 3-day boost when the new member's listing has stayed live for 7 continuous days, and those days are complete within 60 days of the new member joining.

• Live means published and active for buyers to see. Pausing the listing, marking it sold, letting it expire or deleting it stops the clock, and the count starts again from zero the next time a listing goes live.
• A listing held for review, including after reports, stops the clock the same way, and the count starts again when it is live again. An invite whose new member has a listing rejected or removed by moderation does not earn a reward.
• The new member must verify a phone number within 60 days of joining. A number that has belonged to another Jinu account, or certain internet phone numbers, do not qualify.
• An email address or phone number that has already earned a reward does not earn again, even on a new account.
• Neither member may be suspended or banned when the reward is earned.
• An inviting member can earn at most 10 rewards in a calendar month. The new member's own reward is not affected by that limit.

• One reward is one 3-day boost of one of your own active listings, which you choose. It must be used within 90 days of being earned, after which it expires.
• A reward has no cash value. It cannot be exchanged for money, credit or any other product, sold, or transferred to another account.
• A boost from a reward follows the same rules as any boost on Jinu, including the listing rules in the Terms of Service and the Community Guidelines.
• Unused rewards end when the account is deleted, suspended or banned.

• Spam: unsolicited messages, bulk messaging, or posting your link where you are not welcome to.
• Posting your link on coupon, deal or reward-sharing sites, or paying for advertising that uses Jinu's name.
• Using bots, scripts, fake accounts, borrowed phone numbers or any other automated or deceptive means.
• Offering anybody money or anything else in return for joining, posting or keeping a listing up.
• Pretending to be Jinu, or saying that Jinu endorses you.

Jinu may refuse, hold or revoke any reward, and disconnect any invite, if we believe these terms or the Terms of Service have been broken or the program is being abused. We may change these terms, change or pause the rewards, or end Invite friends at any time. Rewards already earned stay usable until they expire unless they were earned in breach of these terms.

When you join from a member's link you follow that member, as if you had followed them yourself. You can unfollow at any time.
