My payment did not go through
If checkout did not complete, the listing sits at Payment pending and is not visible to anyone. That is almost always why a seller cannot find their own listing in Browse.
Confirm what state it is in
Open My listings at /account/listings and read the status on the card. "Payment pending" means the listing exists, everything you wrote is saved, and it has not been paid for. It is not in the feed, not in search, and its public page returns nothing.
Why it usually happens
- The card was declined, or the bank asked for a confirmation step that was not completed.
- The Stripe page was closed, or the browser or app was closed during the redirect back.
- The payment was canceled deliberately. In that case you land back on My listings with a message saying the listing has been saved as a draft.
What happens next, without you doing anything
An unpaid Stripe checkout page expires on its own, and when it does Jinu moves the listing back to Draft. Nothing you wrote is lost, and the photos stay attached. From there you can publish it again, which opens a fresh checkout. The article on finishing an unpaid listing in this section has the steps.
Do not pay twice
Starting a second checkout can create a second charge. Before you retry, open /account/billing and check whether a payment for that listing is already recorded there.
If the money left your account and the listing is still pending
That is the one case worth reporting rather than retrying. Jinu compares recent paid Stripe payments against listing states every day and flags any that were paid but did not go live, so it is likely to be picked up, but tell us anyway so it is not waiting on a scheduled check.
Use the form at /contact and include the listing title, the date and time you paid, and the amount. Do not send your full card number to anybody, including Jinu: nobody at Jinu needs it and nobody will ask.
Charged for something you did not get
Publishing fees are final and non-refundable under the Terms of Service, but a charge that was a genuine error is a different matter. Write to legal@jinu.app with the same details.
