Download an invoice for expenses or tax

Open /account/billing, find the payment, and use View invoice. That is the hosted invoice, and it has a PDF download on it.

Invoice or receipt

Each payment row can show two links, and they are not the same document.

  • View invoice is the itemised invoice with the business details on it. This is the one an accountant wants.
  • Receipt is the card receipt confirming the charge. Useful as proof of payment, thinner as a record.

Who needs this

Mostly two groups. Dealers and businesses listing vehicles at $3 a listing, and anyone posting jobs at $20 a post, since those add up over a year and are ordinary business expenses. Boosts appear the same way, described as a listing boost.

Getting a year at once

There is no export button on the billing page today. Two things help: the totals at the top of the page already break your spend down into this month and this year, and Stripe's portal, reached from Manage payment methods, keeps your invoice history in one place so you can work through it in a single session. The page itself holds your 200 most recent payments.

What will not appear

Nothing is issued for a sale between you and another member. Jinu takes 0% of a local cash deal and is not part of the transaction, so there is no invoice, no receipt and no reported amount. If you sell as a business, what you owe on those sales is between you and the tax authority, and Jinu cannot advise you on it.

Refunds

A refunded payment shows as Refunded, or Partially refunded with the amount, on the same row. The invoice and receipt stay available, which is what you want for the records: the charge happened and so did the refund.
