Find your receipts and invoices

Every payment you have made to Jinu is at /account/billing, each with an invoice and a card receipt beside it.

What is on the page

  • Three totals at the top: total spent, this month, and this year, with any refunds already netted out.
  • One row per payment, newest first, showing what it was for, the date, the amount, and a status: Paid, Refunded, Partially refunded or Disputed.
  • View invoice on each row opens the invoice, which is the document with the business details on it.
  • Receipt opens the card receipt from the payment.
  • Manage payment methods opens Stripe's own secure portal. Stripe is Jinu's payment processor, and receipts and invoices come from them.

The same view is available under Settings in the Billing pane. The page shows your 200 most recent payments.

What you get billed for

  • Paid categories. A job post is $20. Services are $5. Property and stays are $3. A vehicle listed by a dealer or business is $3. Each buys 30 days.
  • Boosts. Bump is $1 for 1 day, Boost is $3 for 3 days, Spotlight is $5 for 7 days, and on the web you can also choose a custom amount between $6 and $50.

What you are never billed for

The sale itself. Jinu takes 0% of a local cash deal between members, forever, and is not a party to it, so no receipt exists for it and none can be issued. General goods are free to post, and so is a vehicle sold by a private owner. Renewing a listing is free.

If a payment is missing

  • Check which account you are signed in to. Payments are attached to the email that made them.
  • Check the listing's status. A listing that reads "Payment pending" means the checkout was never finished, so no payment was taken and there is nothing to show. Open the listing from your listings and complete it, or delete it.
  • If the page says it could not load your billing, that is an error and not an empty history. Refresh, and if it persists, contact us.
