Update your card or billing details
Use Manage payment methods on /account/billing, which opens the payment provider's own hosted portal. Jinu never stores your card.
Where card details actually live
Payments run through Stripe. Card numbers are entered on Stripe's pages and are never sent to or stored on Jinu's servers, which is why the card is changed in their portal rather than in a Jinu form. The button takes you there and back again when you are done.
What the portal covers
Your saved payment methods, your billing information, and your invoice history, all held by Stripe. Exactly which of those it offers is controlled by the provider, so treat the portal as the source of truth over anything written here.
If the portal will not open
You will see "Could not open the billing portal." Try again in a minute, as it is usually a momentary failure on the way to the provider. If it keeps happening, contact us and say what you were trying to change.
A card that gets declined
Jinu is not told why a card was declined, and it does not find out more than you do. The bank knows. In practice it is a new card, an expiry date, an address that no longer matches, or a fraud hold on an unfamiliar merchant. Try another card, or call the number on the back of the one that failed.
The name or address on an invoice is wrong
Billing details are held with your customer record at the payment provider, so the portal is the first place to look. If the invoice you have already received is wrong and you need a corrected one, contact us with the invoice number and the correct details rather than paying again.
One rule that never changes
Nobody at Jinu will ever ask for your card number, your card's security code, or your bank login, in a message, an email or a phone call. If someone does, they are not from Jinu. Report the conversation and read Phishing links and moving the chat off Jinu.
