The privacy settings worth reviewing on day one
Open Settings and look at two groups: Privacy, and Messages and interactions. Every toggle below ships switched on, so if you want something off you have to turn it off. Here is what each one actually exposes.
Privacy

Messages and interactions

A third one, in your profile settings
Public seller profile controls whether your listings appear on your profile page. Turning it off hides them from your profile, from browse and from search, but anyone holding a direct link to a listing can still open it. It hides you from discovery; it does not make a listing private.
Two things worth doing at the same time
- Export your data. There is a button in the Privacy group. It gives you what Jinu holds about you, which is also the fastest way to see what that is.
- Clear search history. Next to it. It clears what is stored now; the toggle decides whether new searches are saved.
What no toggle changes
A listing you publish is public, and so are the display name, username and photo attached to it. Reviews you have received are public on your profile. If you want none of that visible, the answer is to stop listing, not a setting.
