General goods are free to post, for everyone
Posting an item is free whether you are a private seller or a dealer, and the composer never asks you which one you are.
This changed on 25 July 2026. Before that date a dealer or business paid $3 to list general goods. That charge is gone. There is no commercial rate on items, no business account to buy, and no fee waiting further down the form.

Vehicles from a private owner are free as well. The paid categories are Jobs, Services, Property, Stays, and Vehicles from a dealer.
Why you are never asked whether you are a dealer
The question appears only where the answer would change the price, and on items it no longer does. Vehicles is the one place it still appears, because a vehicle from a dealer is $3 and a vehicle from a private owner is free.
Free to post is not free of rules
Every listing has to meet the Community Guidelines and stay off the prohibited items list, and posting a lot of listings does not soften either. One thing catches sellers out often: live animals cannot be sold on Jinu at all. Pet Supplies is for collars, food, crates, tanks and toys, not for pets.
Free does not mean permanent
A listing runs for 30 days. You can renew it, at no cost, up to 120 days in total, which is three renewals. After that the listing has to be posted again.
