Jinu takes 0% of your sale, forever

Jinu takes none of your sale price. Sell a sofa for $400 in cash and you keep $400.

There is no commission, no final value fee, no seller fee, and no payment processing between members. Jinu is not part of the transaction at all: the money goes from the buyer to you, directly, in whatever way the two of you agree. The Terms of Service put it in the same words: Jinu does not process payments between users, there is no escrow, and the take rate on a deal between users is always zero percent.

What Jinu does charge for

• Publishing in a paid category. $20 for a job, $5 for a service, $3 for property, $3 for a stay, $3 for a vehicle from a dealer. Everything else is free to publish.
• Promoting a listing with a Boost. $1 for 1 day, $3 for 3 days, $5 for 7 days, or a custom amount between $6 and $50 on the web.

Both are paid by you to Jinu for a Jinu service. Neither is a share of your sale, and neither goes up because you sold for more.

What this means when you set a price

The number on the listing is the number you can walk away with. There is no platform cut to pad for, and no fee that appears after a buyer agrees.

The other side of 0%

Because Jinu never holds the money, Jinu cannot return it. There is no escrow, no buyer protection fund, and no way for Jinu to reverse a payment between two members. Nothing about a completed deal is undoable from our side.

One thing that is not free

Posting in a paid category costs money even if the item never sells, because the fee buys publication rather than a result. That is set out under Fees, Payments, and Refunds in the Terms.
