What a paid listing actually buys

A paid listing buys one thing: publication in that category for 30 days. It does not buy placement, ranking, a badge, or extra reach.

Once they are live, a $20 job post and a free sofa listing are treated identically. The same sorting, the same search, and neither is shown above the other for having been paid for.

What you get

• The listing goes live in Browse, in search, and on your seller profile.
• It runs for 30 days from the moment payment completes.
• You can edit, pause, mark sold, or delete it at any point at no extra cost.
• You can renew it, free, up to 120 days in total.
• An invoice and a receipt appear in Billing at /account/billing.

What you do not get

Priority in the feed. If you want to be seen first, that is Boost, a separate purchase: it moves the listing to the top of Browse and into Featured near you, carrying a visible "Promoted" label, from $1 for one day.

You also do not get a second listing out of it. The fee is per listing, so two job posts are $20 each.

Renewing does not charge you again

Renewal extends the same listing by another 30 days and never opens a checkout, in a paid category or a free one. You get three renewals, so a listing can live 120 days from the day it was created. After that it has to be posted fresh, and in a paid category the fee applies again to the new listing.

If the listing never went live

A paid listing is only published when the payment completes. Until then it sits at "Payment pending" in Your listings at /account/listings and is not visible to anyone. That is the most common reason a seller cannot find their own listing in the feed.
