The 30 day hold and reversals
A commission is held for 30 days after the revenue is recognized. During the hold it shows as pending. After it, it becomes available and can be paid out.
Why there is a hold at all
To catch the ordinary cases: a buyer who changes their mind, a duplicate purchase, somebody who boosted the wrong listing. Thirty days covers most of that before money leaves.
It is deliberately not presented as making a commission safe. Stripe will accept a refund at any time and a card dispute can arrive months later, so no hold length would eliminate the risk. The hold is sized for the common case, not for the worst one.
Reversals after the hold
If the underlying payment is refunded or disputed, the commission reverses, whenever that happens. It applies after the hold has expired and after a payout has been approved, because the reason is the same in every case: Jinu did not keep that revenue, so there is no share of it to pay.
What a reversal actually does to you
Nothing is taken back out of your bank account. A reversal that lands before you are paid comes off your balance. A reversal that lands after you have been paid becomes an amount owing, and it is netted out of your next payout rather than chased. Once it has been netted into a payout it stops reducing later ones, so a single reversal is deducted once and not repeatedly.
That means an available balance can go down without anything having gone wrong on your side.
Reading your dashboard
The Payouts page at /account/affiliate/payouts separates what is pending, what is available, and what is payable after any outstanding reversals. Payable is the figure a payout would actually be for, so that is the number to watch.
Commissions on hold for another reason
Separately from the 30 day timer, Jinu can place an affiliate account's commissions on hold, for example while a question about referral quality is being looked into. If that applies to you, the Payouts page says so and you cannot request a payout until it is lifted. The grounds are set out in the Affiliate Operating Agreement.
