Commission rates and how long they last
You earn 40% of eligible Jinu revenue for the first three months after somebody is attributed to you, then 25% from month four through month twelve, then nothing.
The ladder
| Period from attribution | Your share |
|---|---|
| Months 1 to 3 | 40% |
| Months 4 to 12 | 25% |
| Month 13 onwards | Nothing |
The periods are calendar months counted from the date the referral was attributed to you, not rolling windows and not from the date of any particular payment.
Twelve months is the whole horizon
This is a twelve month share, not a lifetime one. From month thirteen you earn nothing further from that member however much they go on to spend. There is no renewal, no extension and no residual rate afterwards.
How somebody becomes yours
A click on your referral link is credited for 30 days. If the person creates a Jinu account within that window, they are attributed to you and the twelve month clock starts. If they sign up later than that, they are not attributed.
Your rates are frozen on the day of attribution
Each referral stores the ladder that was in force when it was attributed, and the commission engine always pays from that stored copy. If Jinu changes the program rates later, in either direction, existing referrals keep the terms they were signed up under. A rate change applies only to people attributed after it.
Your dashboard shows the rate each referral is frozen at, on the Referrals page under /account/affiliate.
Where the current terms are published
On /affiliates, and in full in the Affiliate Operating Agreement and the Commission Statement. Those two documents are what you accept when you apply.
Disclosure is required
Wherever you share your link, say plainly that you earn a commission when somebody you refer pays Jinu. A single line next to the link is enough.
