My listing is not showing up: start here
There are four real reasons a listing you posted is not appearing, and one of them is far more common than the other three. Work through them in this order rather than reposting, because reposting a listing that is stuck at payment leaves you with two of them.
First, look at its status
Open My listings. Every listing carries a status label. That label is the answer, and it saves you guessing:
| Label | What it means |
|---|---|
| Live | Published and public. If you still cannot find it by searching, see the last section below. |
| Payment pending | A paid category, and the checkout was never finished. This is the common one. |
| Under review | An automated safety check held it for a person to look at. |
| Draft | Never published. Open it and finish it. |
| Expired | It reached day 30. |
| Paused | You paused it. Reopen the card menu and choose Make active. |
| Sold | It was marked sold, which takes it out of every for-sale feed. |
1. Payment pending
Jobs, Services, Property, Stays and dealer vehicle listings are paid. If the Stripe checkout was closed, canceled or abandoned, the listing sits at Payment pending: it is not in any feed and its public page will not open. This is not a moderation queue and nobody is reviewing it. See Pending payment: an unfinished checkout for how to finish it.
2. Under review
Automated screening runs the moment you publish. If it matched something, the listing is held rather than published and you were emailed. See Held for review.
3. Expired
Listings run 30 days. The feeds only show listings whose 30 days have not run out, so a listing leaves browse and search the moment it passes that mark. A daily job then relabels it Expired in My listings, which is why the card can still read Live for a few hours after the listing has stopped appearing. See Expired listings and how to bring one back.
4. Removed
If a moderator removed it, you were sent an email naming the reason and telling you how to appeal. It will not be in My listings under any of the labels above.
It says Live and you still cannot find it
Check these before assuming something is broken:
- You are searching outside its area. Feeds are filtered by distance from wherever the viewer is. Open the listing's own page from My listings to prove it is public.
- Your own filters are still on. Category, price, condition and delivery filters persist as you move around browse.
- The buyer blocked you, or you blocked them. Blocking is symmetric and hides listings in both directions, so a specific person may not see it while everyone else does.
- Your public profile is turned off. That hides your listings from your profile, from browse and from search, while leaving them reachable by direct link. See Turn your public profile off.
- Search indexing takes a moment. A new listing is live immediately on Jinu; Google finding it is a separate and slower thing.
