Reviews are double-blind
Neither side sees the other's review until both have submitted, or until the 14 day window closes. Nobody can read what was written about them and then decide what to write back.
How it plays out
- The deal is confirmed. Both sides can now review.
- You submit yours. It is stored hidden. The other person cannot see it, and cannot see that you have written one.
- When they submit theirs, both are published at the same moment.
- If they never submit, yours publishes on its own when the window closes.
Why it works this way
A visible-as-you-go review system does not measure how the deal went. It measures who was braver. Sellers learn to wait and mirror, buyers learn that an honest three stars will cost them a one star in return, and within a few months every rating on the platform is five stars and worth nothing. Holding both reviews until both are in removes the thing being retaliated against.
What this means for you in practice
- Write it honestly and write it now. Nothing you say can be read and matched by the other side.
- Nothing is waiting on you to go first. There is no advantage to either order.
- Once it publishes it is final. Get it right while it is still unpublished; after publication it cannot be edited, and that cuts both ways.
What is visible on a published review
The star rating, the comment, and a marker showing it is tied to a confirmed deal on Jinu. The seller can add one public reply, which appears underneath. A reply does not change the rating and it does not reopen the review.
