Save a draft and finish later
The post form saves a real draft into your account as you work, so you can close the tab and pick it up later. Find it in My listings under Drafts.
How the saving works
Once a listing has a category and at least one of a title, a description or a photo, Jinu creates a draft and keeps updating that same draft as you type. The header of the post flow tells you which state you are in:
- Saving while the write is in flight.
- Saved when it reached your account.
- Not saved with a Retry button when it did not. This is a real warning, not a cosmetic one. If it says Not saved, your latest edits are only in the browser.
Tapping a category and going no further does not create anything, which is why an abandoned tap leaves no clutter behind.
A draft is private
A draft is not published. It does not appear in browse, in search, on your seller profile or to anyone else, and it has no expiry running against it because it is not live. The 30 day clock starts when you publish.
Picking it up again
- Go to My listings.
- Choose the Drafts filter. The count beside it tells you how many you have.
- Open the draft and choose Edit and publish.
Drafts do not offer View or Share, because there is nothing public to view or share yet.
Throwing one away
Leaving the post flow offers to discard what you were working on. Discarding deletes the draft itself, not only the tab. If you meant to keep it, choose to stay and let it save first.
If you are in a paid category
A draft is free. Nothing is charged until you publish, and in a paid category the listing only becomes public once the payment completes. A listing that is waiting on payment shows as Payment pending in My listings and is a different thing from a draft: it has been submitted, and it is one step from live.
