Search and filter jobs as a candidate

Open /browse?cat=jobs and narrow it with the filters beside the results: workplace type, employment type, pay range, when it was posted, and benefits.

The filters

  • Workplace type. On site, remote or hybrid.
  • Employment type. Full time, part time, contract, temporary or internship.
  • Pay range. A minimum, a maximum, and whether you mean per year or per hour. Worth knowing: this matches only posts where the employer stated a pay range, so a tight filter hides every post that left pay blank. Search once without it to see what you are missing.
  • Date listed. Any time, last 24 hours, last week or last month. The last 24 hours view is the one to use daily, since applying early genuinely helps.
  • Benefits. Health, Dental, Vision, 401(k), PTO and Equity. These match what the employer ticked when posting, so a role that offers health cover but did not tick it will not appear.

Clear all resets everything and takes you back to the full jobs feed. Changing a filter takes you back to the first page of results, so you never end up stranded on an empty page three.

Location

Jobs are part of the local feed, so the city you have chosen applies here too. Remote roles still carry a city, which is the employer's location, so if you want remote work look at the remote filter rather than at the city.

Once you have a filter set that works, save the search. You get an email when new jobs match it, which is how you get in front of a post on its first day instead of its tenth.

Applying

Some posts take applications inside Jinu, with a short form and an optional PDF resume. Others send you to the employer's own site. Either way, read "Applying for a job safely" in this section first: a real employer never asks you to pay to be hired.
