Vehicles: free for owners, $3 for dealers
A vehicle listed by a private owner is free to publish. The same vehicle listed by a dealer or a business is $3.
Vehicles is the only category on Jinu where who you are changes the price. Jobs, Services, Property and Stays are a flat fee for everybody, and general goods are free for everybody.
Where you answer the question
Choose Vehicles in the composer at /post and the details step shows "Posting as a dealer or business?" with two choices, Individual and Dealer / business. The cost line underneath updates as you pick, so you can see the $3 before you commit to it.
Which one applies to you
Individual means the vehicle is yours and you are selling your own. Dealer / business means you sell vehicles as a trade: a lot, a garage, a broker, or a side business that turns cars over.
Choosing Individual to avoid the $3 when you deal in vehicles breaks the Terms of Service and is grounds for taking the listing down.
It covers the whole Vehicles category
The fee follows the top-level category, not the subcategory. A dealer pays $3 for Cars & Trucks, and also for Motorcycles, Boats, Trailers, Heavy Equipment, Auto Parts & Accessories and Wheels & Tires. A private owner pays nothing for any of them.
What the $3 buys
Publication for 30 days, the same as a free listing gets. It does not buy placement, a dealer badge, or priority in search. Nothing in the feed marks a paid listing as paid.
You cannot change this after publishing
Category and seller type are fixed once a listing is live. Almost everything else can be edited from My listings at /account/listings, including title, description, price, photos, city, condition and the vehicle fields, but changing the category means posting again.
