Boost a listing you have already posted
Promote any live listing from My listings without touching the listing itself. There is no need to delete and repost, and reposting would be the worse move anyway: it throws away the listing's age, its views and any saves it has collected.
How to do it
- Open your account and go to My listings.
- Find the listing. On the phone, open the card's menu; on the desktop, the actions sit on the card itself.
- Choose Boost listing.
- Pick Bump, Boost or Spotlight, or on the website choose Custom amount and enter $6 to $50. The sheet shows the price and the days before you commit.
- Continue to checkout and pay.
The promotion is applied once the payment is confirmed, and the card starts showing how many days are left.
If you cannot see the boost control
- The listing has to be live. A draft, an expired listing, one still marked payment pending, or one held under review cannot be promoted. Deal with the status first: publish the draft, renew the expired one, finish the checkout.
- Sold listings cannot be boosted. Once it is marked sold, the control goes.
- It may already be promoted. In that case the card shows the days remaining in place of the button. You can still add days by opening the sheet again.
Editing a boosted listing
Edit it normally. Fixing the price, swapping a photo or rewriting the description does not cancel the promotion or restart the clock. Marking it sold does end the promotion, and the days do not come back, so mark it sold when it is actually sold rather than while a buyer is still deciding.
