Custom boost amounts on the website
The website accepts a custom amount from $6 to $50, on top of the three fixed tiers. Choose Custom amount in the boost sheet and type a figure. The apps do not offer this; it is a website feature.
How the days are worked out
A custom amount is priced at the Spotlight rate, which is $5 for 7 days. Your amount buys that many days in proportion, rounded to the nearest whole day, and never fewer than one. The sheet shows the day count before you pay, so you always see what you are buying.

Why it starts at $6
Custom begins one dollar above Spotlight so the range and the tiers never overlap on price. Below $6 there is always a tier that does the job, so the picker sends you to it.
Watch the listing's own clock
A listing runs for 30 days and can be renewed to a maximum of 120 days in total, across at most 3 renewals. A boost does not extend the listing. Buying 70 days of promotion for a listing with 9 days left on it will not keep the listing alive for 70 days, so check what is left before spending at the top of the range.
If the amount is refused
The field accepts $6 to $50 and shows "Enter $6 to $50" when it is outside that. The server checks the figure again when the payment settles, so the days you are granted always match the money that actually arrived.
