Edit or delete a listing

Edit and delete both live in My listings, and the same controls are on a listing's private manage page. Either way you have to be signed in to the account that posted the listing.

From My listings

  1. Sign in and open My listings.
  2. Find the listing and open the more menu on its card.
  3. Choose Edit listing to change it, or Delete listing to take it down.

Edits go live as soon as you save. One thing to know before you rewrite the title or the description: an edit runs through the same content checks a brand new post runs through, so wording that trips a safety rule can send a listing that was already live into review. If that happens, see "My listing was flagged and it looked completely fine" in the Safety center.

From the manage page

Every listing also has its own manage page at jinu.app/manage/ followed by a private token, with Edit, Renew, Mark as sold and Delete listing on one screen. The reminder email Jinu sends three days before a listing expires links straight to it.

The email you get when a listing goes live does not carry that link, on purpose. It confirms the listing, links to the public page, and tells you to manage it from your account, because a link that grants control over a listing is not something to leave sitting in an inbox.

Holding the link is not enough on its own either. You have to be signed in as the account that posted the listing. Having the listing's contact email on your account is not sufficient: that address is a copy taken at posting time and is not moved when you change your email, so it is deliberately not accepted as proof of ownership. Listings posted before Jinu required an account still open with the link alone.

Open Find your listing, enter the email address on the listing, and Jinu emails the manage links for your ten most recent listings. That request is limited to three times per email address in any ten minutes. Treat what arrives as private: anyone signed in who has one of those links can manage that listing.

What deleting actually does

Deleting takes the listing out of search, browse, your seller page and every feed straight away, and there is no undo inside the app. If you want it out of sight for a while rather than gone, pause it instead. Deleting a listing you paid to publish does not return the publishing fee.
