Renew a listing before it expires

Renew from the expiry email, from My listings, or from the listing's manage page, and the listing gets another 30 days.

The three places to do it

• The expiry email. Jinu sends it three days out. The Renew listing button in it goes to the manage page for that listing.
• My listings. Open My listings, find the listing, and use Renew on its card. It works on live listings and on ones that have already expired.
• The manage page. Renew is on the same page as Edit and Mark as sold.

Renew late rather than early

A renewal sets the expiry to 30 days from the moment you press it. It does not add 30 days to the date you already had. Renewing three weeks early therefore throws those three weeks away, and it also spends one of your three renewals. Wait for the reminder.

What renewing does and does not change

Renewing an expired listing puts it back to live and it starts appearing in browse and search again. Renewing does not change your place in the feed, because feed position comes from the posted date, not the expiry date. If you want to move back to the top, that is the free bump, and it is a separate action.

Renewing will not republish a listing that is being reviewed, that is waiting on a payment, or that has been deleted. In those cases the date moves forward and the status stays as it is, which is deliberate: renewing must never be a way around a review.
